What Every Girl Should Know

The FDA recommends about 25g of fiber per day.  For those of you who want a low-carb diet, the net carbs for one cup of black beans is approximately 15g. Two cups of black beans per day will give your body so much nutrition, that it may be well-fed enough to allow you to feed your mouth less food and less often, which can also lead to weight loss.  To feed your body even better, include steel cut oats, black or brown rice, white beans, brown beans, and lentils, every day.  All these foods mentioned help to alkalize your body as well, which is critically important to good health!

How the Body Eats


Everything’s easy, once you know how; including how to be happy and healthy by feeding your body properly, both physically and emotionally.  Read on, and get quick and easy answers and instructions for your diet, health, and happiness in less than five minutes.


How to be Healthy


You eat by stuffing your mouth with food.  But your body eats by breaking down soluble fiber, protein, and stored body fat,  and distributing the minerals and vitamins from them into your bloodstream. Insoluble fiber is used by your body to keep it “regular,” but soluble fiber is actually what your body eats, and uses to keep you healthy!  Fruits and vegetables are loaded with soluble fiber, but you get the biggest bang for your buck with black beans and lentils. Black beans are packed with (depending on who you ask) 15 -18 grams of fiber, and a plethora of vitamins and minerals for the good bacteria in your gut (aka:  your body) to eat!



Did you know that there really is a magic, happy pill?  Well it does exist; figuratively at least. This pill is a lot easier to swallow, and most effective however, if you take the time to swallow your pride, first. The name of this pill; is Gratefulness.   You want to be happier? Then be grateful, first!


Be grateful!  For example:  if things are so bad that you are living on the streets:  be grateful that you are living on the streets.  If your children are driving you crazy: be grateful that you have children.   If you hate your job:  be grateful that you have a job.  Remember; it does give you the means to provide at least some of the things you need.   


Of course, I’m not saying that if you’re in a bad situation, you should be happy that you’re in a bad situation. I’m saying be grateful that you are living, and be grateful for those who gave you life! Because as long as you are living you have the freedom to choose to make your situation better.  And the first step to improving any situation, is having a spirit; a feeling of gratitude.
