Do Fathers Give Life?
Fathers make up 50% of the team that creates new humans, and play a major role in the maintenance of life on Earth.
Studies show that children who grow up without the positive effects of a father in the home, are often saddled with emotional issues that last a lifetime.
Girls without good fathers often become pregnant teens, and teen boys are more likely to sire them. Both girls and boys are more likely to become abusers of drugs and alcohol.
Boys are more likely to become involved in violent crimes; and each is more likely to lack the confidence that comes from having a good father in the home, and suffer from low self-esteem that leads to a host of other problems.
Indeed, far beyond financial provision, fathers play an important, irreplaceable role in the life of a child. But the question is: do fathers give life?

…con’t
It appears to be a common misconception that they do. Conversations with hundreds of people over the years indicate that most people believe that a woman carries a lifeless egg that comes to life once fertilized by sperm. However, this simply is not true. To the best of what science has to offer by way of information obtained through studies, there is no way that any part of any human has the ability to actually create or ignite life; let alone from something that is dead or lifeless. The best that we can do is to resuscitate. A living sperm simply cannot give life to a dead egg.
Many people believe that life begins at birth, and others believe it begins at conception. But what many of us don’t seem to realize, is that the human female egg is already alive. Not only is it bursting with life, but it is intelligent and competitive as well! Every month before ovulation, several human eggs begin to mature and “fight” for the right to sit in the felopian tube and be fertilized. But typically, only one of them gets to become “queen of the mountain.”
That is, only one gets to go into the coveted position and wait to be fertilized. The winner is the one that moves into that coveted position in the ovary, and waits. It does not wait to become a living cell, it already is a living cell. Not only is it already living, but it has just fought the battle of its life, and won!
Now, the question is: will it continue living, or will a “prince” come along and save her from doom? It has only a few short days to be “rescued” by sperm, or it will die. This is what happens in the bodies of every healthy female who has a body biologically developed enough to menstruate. That is, if there is no sperm available to fertilize the egg, the egg dies and leaves the body; and the process starts all over again. That is, eggs beging to mature, fight for the right to wait in the ovary, and wait to be fertilized.
But the egg doesn’t just sit there waiting idle. If there is sperm available, then according to one study conducted by assistant professor John Fitzpatrick of the University of Stockholm, the egg actually chooses which sperm will successfully fertilize it (https://cnn.it/2RcPXZw)! This process continues until the female runs completely out of eggs. No, fathers do not “give us life,” but we certainly wouldn’t be here without them!
You already knew that the male sperm was a living organism, now you know that the female egg is a living organism too. Therefore, it does not compute that when a sperm cell permeates the egg cell, the egg cell becomes alive; no, it was already alive. So if the sperm is alive, and the egg is alive before fertilization, then when does life actually begin?
I say life begins at the birth of a female baby. No, not a male baby, but a female baby. Why? Because when a female baby is born, she is born with all of the egg cells she’s ever going to have. Each egg is alive and programed to mature at the proper time, and each has the potential to be another human being one day! Additionally, there is scientific evidence which suggests that everything a female infant experiences from birth to childbirth, affects each of her eggs, and therefore impacts every human she herself may birth into the world!
